Length Bars are made from High Carbon High Chromium Steel, ensuring that the gauge faces are hardened to 64 RC (800 HV). The bars have a round section of 30mm for greater stability, and ease of handling . Both ends are threaded and recessed, and Precision lapped to meet with the stipulated requirements of finish, flatness, parallelism and gauge length.
